MERRA2-LISFLOOD SLAM are derived from barystatic sea level estimates retrieved from solving the sea level equation (incl. loading and self-attraction) for the excess mass necessary to close the global mass budget between atmosphere and continental hydrology for terrestrial water storage simulated with OS LISFLOOD and atmospheric surface pressure from the Modern-Era Retrospective analysis for Research and Applications, version 2 by NASA’s Global Modeling and Assimilation Office GMAO.
